The Barcode Generator is used to generate barcode labels for library resources.
The interface provides fields for defining the barcode sequence.
The available fields include:
- Prefix — Used to specify the beginning identifier for the barcode sequence.
- Suffix — Used to specify optional text placed after the barcode number.
- Start Point — Defines the starting number of the barcode sequence.
- End Point — Defines the final number of the barcode sequence.
The available actions include:
- Generate Barcodes — Generates the barcode sequence based on the entered information.
- Export to PDF — Exports the generated barcode labels to PDF.
The Generated Barcodes section displays the barcodes produced by the system.
Generated barcodes can be used to identify physical library book copies and support inventory and borrowing operations.
