In addition to the operational modules displayed in the main navigation, Fecomas provides a Settings menu for configuring important academic and administrative information used throughout the system.

The Settings menu displayed in the system includes functions for:

  • Academic Years
  • Terms
  • Classes
  • Class Streams
  • Grading System
  • Fees Structure
  • Subjects Management
  • Subjects Allocation
  • Approval Workflows
  • Sending General SMS
  • Sending Custom SMS
  • SMS Sent Reports

These configuration functions are important because they provide the underlying academic and administrative setup required by other parts of the system. For example, academic years, terms, classes, class streams, grading systems, subjects, and fee structures may be configured before the corresponding operational activities are performed.

The Settings area should therefore be considered an important administrative component of the system and is documented separately in this guide.
