Book Borrowing & Returns

Apr 11, 2026 1 min read Library

The borrowing process allows students or staff to check out books from the library. This process records who borrowed the book, when it was issued, and when it is expected to be returned.

To issue a book, select the borrower and the book from the system, then confirm the transaction. The system will automatically update the book’s status to indicate that it is currently borrowed.

When the book is returned, the system records the return and updates the status back to available. This ensures that the book can be issued to another user when needed.

This process helps maintain proper tracking of library materials and ensures that all borrowing activities are recorded accurately.
