Access to examination functions is controlled according to the permissions assigned to the user’s account.
Users with the appropriate permissions may be able to create assessments, enter scores, upload scores, generate reports, manage result sheets, perform examination analysis, and release examination results.
Because examination records form an important part of the student’s academic record, users should verify assessment and score information before reports are generated or results are released.
Particular care should also be taken when releasing examination results because the release process determines when the results become available through the system’s result-related functions.
The Examination module provides an integrated environment for managing academic assessments and examination results within the Fecomas School Management System.
The module supports the complete examination process, beginning with the creation and management of assessments, followed by individual or bulk score entry, and continuing through continuous assessment reporting, school report generation, result sheet management, examination analysis, and result release.
The Manage Assessments function provides the foundation for configuring assessment records. Manage Scores provides several methods of entering assessment results, including individual score entry, spreadsheet entry, and spreadsheet upload. School Reports provides access to continuous assessment reports, mid/mock reports, end-of-term reports, result sheets, and examination analysis.
The Examination Release function provides a controlled method for releasing examination results according to examination, class, and release status, with an option to notify parents.
Together, these functions provide authorized users with a centralized environment for managing assessment information, recording student performance, producing academic reports, analyzing examination results, and controlling the release of final results.
