Overview

The Teaching module is used to manage teaching and lesson-planning activities within the Fecomas School Management System. It provides tools for preparing schemes of work, reviewing scheme progress, creating lesson plans, checking submitted lesson plans, managing lesson-plan approval, and maintaining the period register. 

The module provides a structured workflow through which teaching activities can be planned, recorded, reviewed, and monitored. It also allows teaching records to be organized according to subjects, weeks, terms, teachers, class streams, and lessons. 

The Teaching module contains the following functional areas: 

• Schemes of Work — Used to create and manage weekly teaching schemes, including topics, lessons, success criteria, planned activities, resources, outcomes, references, remarks, and teacher information.  
• Check Schemes — Used to review scheme records and monitor their completion status.  
• Lesson Plans — Used to create and manage detailed lesson plans based on schemes of work.  
• Approve Lesson Plan — Used to review submitted lesson plans and monitor their checked status.  
• Period Register — Used to manage teaching periods, lesson assignments, class streams, teachers, delivery times, and class attendance.  

The availability of specific functions and actions depends on the permissions assigned to the user’s account.
