Overview 

The Accounting module is used to manage school budgets, income transactions, expense requests, expense approvals, and financial reporting within the Fecomas School Management System. 

The module provides a centralized environment for monitoring the financial position of the school, preparing and monitoring budgets, recording income, managing expenditure requests, reviewing approval status, and generating financial reports. 

The Accounting module is accessible from the main navigation panel and contains the following functional areas: 

• Accounting Dashboard — Used to monitor the financial position of the selected term, including budget, income, requests, and spending.
• Budget — Used to create and monitor school budgets and prepare budget items. 
• Income — Used to record, search, filter, and report school income transactions. 
• Expense Requests — Used to create and manage requests for school expenditure. 
• Expense Approvals — Used to review expense requests that require approval. 
• Accounting Reports — Used to review budget, income, and expense information through reports. 

The availability of specific actions within these areas depends on the permissions assigned to the user’s account.
