Examination Release

The Examination Release function is used to release examination results and manage the status of results made available to users. 

The Release Examinations interface provides a Release Details section containing: 

• Exam — Used to select the examination whose results are being released. 
• Class — Used to select the class for which the results are being released. 
• Status — Used to specify the release status. 
• Send Notification to Parents — Provides an option for determining whether parents should be notified when the results are released. 

The interface therefore allows the release process to be controlled according to the examination and class selected. 

Examination Release Records 

The Examination Reports area also provides Examination Release Records, which allow users to review examination release activity. 

The records provide information relating to examinations that have been released and identify the users associated with the release activity. 

The interface provides a Release Results action for examination records where results are ready to be released. 

This provides a controlled process for making examination results available after the relevant assessment and reporting activities have been completed.
