Borrowed Books
The Borrowed Books Management interface is used to manage books issued to library members and monitor their return status.
The interface provides summary indicators including:
- Total Borrowed — Displays the total number of borrowing records.
- Returned — Displays the number of books that have been returned.
- Not Returned — Displays the number of books that have not yet been returned.
- Members — Displays the number of members represented in the borrowing records.
These indicators provide a quick overview of the current borrowing activity.
Return Status Filters
The Borrowing Records section provides filters based on the return status of books.
The available filters include:
- All — Displays all borrowing records.
- Returned — Displays books that have been returned.
- Not Returned — Displays books that have not yet been returned.
These filters make it easier for library staff to identify outstanding books and review completed returns.
Borrowing Records
The Borrowing Records table displays information about books that have been issued to library members.
The table includes:
- Barcode — Identifies the physical copy that was borrowed.
- Book Title — Displays the title of the borrowed book.
- Member — Identifies the member who borrowed the book.
- Days — Displays the borrowing period.
- Date Borrowed — Displays the date on which the book was borrowed.
- Expected Return — Displays the expected return date.
- Status — Displays the current return status.
- Actions — Provides available actions for managing the borrowing record.
This information allows library staff to monitor individual borrowing transactions.
